St George Barcelona Student Takes Part in TEDx Málaga Youth Event30 April 2026A total of 15 students aged between 12 and 17 took to the stage as speakers at TEDx The British School of Málaga Youth, an inspiring event held on 26 March at Cine Yelmo, Málaga. The event brought together students, families and educators under the theme “The Shape of Possibility”.Designed to give young people a voice and foster critical thinking from an early age, the event transformed students into speakers, encouraging them to share ideas and perspectives on topics such as fear of failure, decision-making, imagination and the power of small changes in society.A platform for future thinkersThe event created a unique space for reflection on key questions about the future, including the well-known “what if…?” approach, while highlighting the role of international education in preparing global citizens.Among the speakers was Artem, a student from St George Barcelona, who reflected on how the experience helped him step out of his comfort zone, improve his communication skills and collaborate with others in a meaningful way.Inspiring young voicesTEDx The British School of Málaga Youth, organised as part of the school’s 25th anniversary, brought together the wider educational community in a dynamic environment designed to connect ideas and inspire new ways of thinking.Beyond the classroomParticipation in initiatives such as TEDx reinforces St George Barcelona’s commitment to a holistic and international education, where students are encouraged to develop confidence, creativity and a strong sense of purpose.The talks will soon be available on the TEDx YouTube channel, extending the impact of these ideas to a global audience.
