Miss King began her journey as a headteacher in London, where she led two schools. In 2010, she relocated to Madrid to establish St. George School and then was entrusted with founding St. George School in Barcelona in 2015. Miss King has been a lead schools inspector for over 10 years and is on the executive committee of the NABSS association, the monitoring committee of the British council and a founding member of BISSC.Her expertise lies in school leadership, improvement and development, with a passion for ensuring that every member of the school community strives to help all children reach their full potential.
Francesca began her career in Brussels, then Paris, and later the UK, gaining extensive experience in marketing and communications. She progressed to senior leadership roles, including Head of Marketing, before relocating to Barcelona, where she now leads innovative strategies as Head of Marketing at St George.
With expertise in brand development, digital strategy, and community engagement, Francesca is passionate about connecting people with the school’s vision and values. Approachable and supportive, she believes in teamwork, open communication, and empowering others to succeed.
