I enjoyed going at SGB and I actually WANTED to learn. The size of the school made it so welcoming, every teacher knew me as an individual always being there for me as a friend would. I felt like I was responsible for part of my learning journey.
Nicolás González de Betolaza Gispert, Student
SGB felt more like a family than a school. I'd wake up and go everyday, for two reasons; because I enjoyed it and because I actually WANTED to learn. The size of the school made it so welcoming, every teacher knew me as an individual and I felt part of a team rather than just a follower. This made my experience so much better, since I felt like I was responsible for part of my learning journey, and the teachers were part of this team and hence always there for me, like a friend would be. Teachers would sacrifice two or three hours after school, or would arrive early just to give me extra classes or support. This made my time at St George extremely rewarding and motivating, since I had no reason to slack as my teachers were going the extra mile. All the staff at the school, including the cleaning, admin and cooking teams were all, in my eyes, what made the school. Everything about the people working at St George was amazing, and made my experience truly heartwarming.
